Species: European Eagle Owl hybrid ( technically supposed to be half-demon instead, but about that later )
Class Title: Demon Host - He has a demonic soul sleeping within him, which occasionally stirs and wreaks havoc on him, the host. This is the source of Shiki's limited dark magic (see Necromancy)
Skill: Influencing Thoughts: He can't mindcontrol people, but he can coax ideas and thoughts into others' minds, coaxing them to do what he wants/ think what he wants. The more willpower someone has, the harder it is for him to use it against them. sorta like Neku in TWEWY haha
If confronted with another person who can temper with minds, he can telepathically communicate with them. (Ex.: Kaniner)

♦ Quiet/Taciturn; sometimes no one notices him in the same room, he rarely talks unless he's with friends.

♦ Charismatic; he can easily get people that he is acquainted with to do what he wants, though not for a bad purpose.

♦ Extremely protective; If you befriend him and he has enough trust in you, he'll keep (almost) all his promises and do almost any favour you ask. Shiki is very sensitive about friendship and will put his friends in priority before him.

♦Doubtful (at times); not necessarily about making decisions, but about himself. After being stuck in the timeless abyss for so long, he had started to forget bits and pieces of his memory, and now feels unsure about anyone he talks to - sometimes he can't remember whether or not that person had been someone he hated or loved to death.

History:
Before being trapped in time:
Shiki Delvois has a confusing history that he could barely remember himself. He knew that he had once been part of the demonic hybrid world, but was taken out of it into the human world in his teen years. He doesn't have memories earlier than that.
Shiki was once a demon-like hybrid, only expected as he was the younger brother of the Prince of the Demons. But one day they were suppressed by a mysterious someone into a "deep slumber", and it is still resting in his inner soul as of now. His demonic spirit was forced to take form of an owl, therefore him being an owl hybrid. It has never reawakened; so he is no longer a full demon. But him once being a demon is why he could form very weak forms of necromancy, which he rarely uses because it takes up too much of his strength, sometimes making him faint afterwards.
He followed his older brother's footsteps in allying with the human world. Sometimes he gets bits and pieces of his hybrid-world-memories in his nightmarish dreams, and doesn't like to speak of it, as it is somewhat and somehow painful to him.

Now:
The details are still very hazy to him. He had been getting migraines every day, feeling the demon inside him stir occasionally. It wasn't good that it was unstable like this, but he felt it sated an empty part of him, to not restrain his demonic side like he had for so long.
He had been out in Meladis, heading to the forest, to free his hurting mind when he heard a voice inside him. He could not make out what it was saying until he heard it whisper his name, and suddenly he felt sleepy, his alarm fading to dullness, his consciousness drifting to a hazy state..
When he "woke up" he found himself in a dark abyss. All he could hear was silence. His head pounded with the frantic beat of his heart, and his entire body ached. And the presence of his demonic soul inside him... was gone. As were his wings.
Where am I...
His body hung in the air and he willed himself to put his feet down on the cracked ground of wherever he was. It was too dark to see ahead two feet.
He was in some "other dimension".
Why, he does not know... He figured it was something to do with his demon side, as it had put him in this kind of "deep slumber" before, although he had been younger when it first happened and did not remember the details at the time.
Shiki did not know when he would get out of this nothingness. He tried to walk for what seemed like "days" on end, trying to see if there was an end to this place.. but eventually he gave up, finding himself in what looked like exactly where he started. Frustrated, aching, and tired, he tried to sleep, but sleep would not come - how could you sleep when you are already unconscious?
He knew he was trapped in his demon's world - perhaps it was the opposite now; he was the trapped soul in the body of his demon.
After what felt like a few weeks (though he could not keep track of time in this dark abyss), he started feeling hysteric, alone for so long. The own evils of his mind started to play tricks on him, and he became frantic. He also realised he could not remember some pieces of his memories from being in Meladis.
Let me out of here...
He heard a voice. High-pitched, sad, malicious and maniacal at the same time.
"You never let me out anymore... Afraid I might hurt your friends, aren't you~? I promised I wouldn't yet you wont let this side of you roam free.. So I decided to free myself."
He panicked.
From then on, all he could remember is pain... He was fighting against himself, the goods and evils, until finally, with an overwhelming sense relief, heard it.
"I've had my fun.. think twice before chaining me up again, ne? I've shown you what it could be like.."

The next time he awoke, he himself felt the same, but something around him felt different. He woke up on a forest floor.
"What..."
He realised something. Had time stood still for him?
He knew he had been locked in the abyss, but his mind hurt and he could not remember some details... It confused him to no end, and he felt frustrated and unsure. But he knew he had to find out, and set out to visit Meladis once again, and to settle the inward battle with himself.

MY GOD THIS IS SO CHEESY

Overview: Shiki was born in the hybrid world and was taken out when he was young before he could remember. After living in Meladis for a while, his demon side (locked up into owl form within him) started stirring and one day and put him under a .. spell? He was in a timeless abyss for about 6 months before his demon let him back, with a warning. Now he's back and better than ever (not really)

Trivia:
- He cannot fly. His wingspan is too short to keep him in the air. Sure, he could sorta glide.... but that's about it. GO FLYING SQUIRRELS

-Sometimes extremely simple-minded and dense. Especially when it comes to girls.

-Holds respect for Ryn, no matter how derpy his brother could be.

-Quick, light, and agile

-He does not restraining his demon side as much anymore. His music note necklace, which used to have restraining powers, is considerably weakened.
